The Summer Classic Reliability Trial & Run ran between 21st and 23rd July 2011 under a permit issued by the MSA UK and was orgainised by HERO. It started on the Isle of Wight, where it partnered the Panerai British Classic Yacht Week, based in Cowes. After a welcome dinner at the exclusive Royal Yacht Squadron, the event ceremonial start took place at the Cowes Yacht Haven haven and was followed by a driving test in front of the main Panerai Village regatta marquee. Crossing to the mainland the event finished at the Goodwood hotel after two days rallying across Hampshire and West Sussex.
